Wendake 2023 #1 The Pow Wow - A Traditional Indigenous Dance

The Pow Wow is a celebration of Native Americans and First Nations where Indigenous peoples sing, dance, reconnect with old friends, and celebrate their rich ancestral history.

The Pow Wow is celebrated throughout North America from April to November, and everyone is welcome to these events. Participating in these gatherings is a very effective way to learn about the history of these peoples.

In this video, we share our experience at the Pow Wow in Wendake, an urban reserve of the Huron-Wendat community in Quebec City. This is the first chapter in a three-part series where we'll introduce you to the culture, traditions, and customs of these wonderful peoples.
